The head of state conducted a visit to meet with national troops in the eastern front on the start of the week. Zelenskyy announced that he met with soldiers at the command post of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately 20km from Pokrovsk.

Critical Conditions in the Region

Geospatial data from a Ukrainian project showed that opposition armies had made gains into Pokrovsk and its environs, though much of it lacked clear dominance by either side. The conditions are severe, with accounts indicating that opposition troops were digging in and enhancing fortifications in certain areas.

Russian forces are making progress in the Pokrovsk sector and appear to be operating with enhanced confidence within urban Pokrovsk.

Military experts commented that defense units had freed a large area of a enemy advance in the Dobropillya direction, on the east side of the Pokrovsk effort.

National Long-Range Assaults Within Russian Territory

National unmanned aircraft attacked an industrial plant approximately 1,300km inside Russian territory at Sterlitamak. City administration reported an explosion at the industrial complex that resulted in structural damage to partially collapse, adding that the reason for the blast was unconfirmed. The Russian embassy in Rome later expressed sympathy for the passing of a construction employee in the incident but took the opportunity to object that the negative feedback to the comments was biased against Russia.
